Your agent should not guess whether a vehicle, ABN, or PPSR record matches the file. Hoist provides available ABN/GST workflows through API, CLI, or MCP. PPSR preview mechanics are implemented but not currently customer-accessible through those surfaces; paid PPSR searches and pricing are not currently available through Hoist.

Available ABN/GST checks return their documented source-cited verification response. A separate sample Evidence Pack can illustrate supplied identifiers, but its rows are fixture or unsearched and it includes no PPSR source trail, result, price, secured-party data, or certificate.
What works now
A person can check a VIN or PPSR record directly with AFSA or another established provider outside Hoist, then keep that external evidence separate from Hoist's available ABN/GST result.
Preview and explicit-confirmation mechanics are implemented but not currently customer-accessible through API, CLI, or MCP. Preview requests fail closed without a price or register dispatch.

One response for the asset file
With account access, your agent can send the ABN for available checks. PPSR subject-validation and preview mechanics are implemented but not currently customer-accessible, and paid PPSR source results are not currently available through Hoist.
Entity and asset change monitoring is currently unavailable
Hoist does not currently re-fetch entity or asset sources to prove what changed or stayed unchanged. The related contracts are omitted from MCP discovery, and no source recheck, comparison, subscription, schedule, or alert runs.
Give the analyst the fields that need attention
Hoist returns risk flags and review items alongside source data. The agent can summarise those items, but the business process still decides the outcome.
Source data, not a finance decision
Hoist checks the enabled Australian sources for your account and returns the result. It does not make the finance decision or replace a person where your policy requires review.
What the vehicle section covers
Canonical VIN and serial-number evidence
The sample Evidence Pack can normalise a supplied VIN or serial number for illustration. Its VIN and PPSR rows remain fixture or unsearched and do not represent source data that Hoist checked.
PPSR collateral comparison is unavailable
Hoist does not currently return PPSR collateral text, so it cannot compare supplied make, model, year, or description fields against a live PPSR result.
Mismatch surfaced as a review item
The sample export can surface inconsistencies between supplied identifiers for human review. It does not verify those identifiers against a live asset source.
What this does not claim
Hoist does not currently run live NEVDIS, state-registry, registration-plate, stolen, written-off, or registered-operator checks. Tool-specific verification responses state when those checks were not run; the separate Evidence Pack path is sample-only.
