PPSRThe Australian national register where security interests in personal property are recorded. Hoist PPSR preview and paid search are currently unavailable. NPIIAFSA's National Personal Insolvency Index (bankruptcy register), distinct from Hoist's deprecated internal shorthand. Hoist exposes no current PPSR search. ASIC entity intelligenceCompany, business-name, and selected professional-register checks from completed public snapshots. The standalone AFSL/ACL lookup is fixture-only. ACNA unique 9-digit number assigned by ASIC to every Australian company at registration. ABNA unique 11-digit identifier issued by the ATO for tax and business purposes; covers companies, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts. GrantorThe entity whose property is subject to a security interest under the Personal Property Securities Act. Secured partyThe party who holds a security interest over the grantor's property, typically a lender, finance company, supplier on retention-of-title terms, or lessor. Search certificateAn official AFSA artifact associated with a PPSR search. Hoist does not currently run that search or return or store its certificate. B2G AccountAFSA's framework for approved PPSR account-customer organisations. B2G status does not unlock a current Hoist PPSR preview or paid search. Serial-number searchAn AFSA PPSR search by an asset serial number rather than grantor identity. Hoist's future schema represents this subject, but the search is currently unavailable. Asset due diligenceThe process of checking asset title, encumbrance status, and counterparty identity before a transaction completes. Register searchA search that retrieves data from an official government register. Each Hoist surface must state which registers are currently available. AFSAThe Commonwealth statutory authority that operates the PPSR and administers personal insolvency. Use AFSA direct for a current PPSR search. ABRThe free public register of ABNs, GST registration, registered business names, and historical trading names, operated by the ATO. G-NAFThe Geocoded National Address File, an Australian address reference dataset used for address-consistency checks. Address confidenceA signal that compares supplied Australian address text with address evidence; useful for consistency, not identity proof. Due Diligence RecordA human-readable Evidence Pack artifact. The legacy exporter currently creates fixture/unsearched samples, not a PPSR result, certificate, clearance, or completed receipt. Audit chainAn append-only record of supported completed checks. Hoist has no current successful PPSR audit event or certificate record. MCPAn open protocol for connecting AI assistants to external tools and data sources via scoped tool calls. Evidence PackAn agent-ready bundle of facts, limitations, timestamps, risk flags, confidence, and human-review items. The legacy exporter is currently fixture/unsearched and contains no current PPSR evidence. Hoist ConnectorThe agent-facing access layer for currently available Australian source data through MCP, API, and CLI. It does not currently expose PPSR preview or paid search. AI agentA software process that uses a language model to call tools, take actions, and reason toward a goal on behalf of a user. Source checkA timestamped verification step against an explicitly available source. Fixture/unsearched rows are not source checks and must remain labelled as samples. Risk flagA discrepancy or limitation surfaced by an available check and included for human review. Human review itemAn action that requires human judgment because source data alone is insufficient.
